RelayCDN Inc. ("RelayCDN", "we", "us", or "our") operates video delivery networks, stream ingest points of presence, and edge caching services globally. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information transmitted through our network infrastructure, APIs, and website.
RelayCDN operates as a B2B network conduit and streaming infrastructure provider. Video streams, audio packets, and media chunks transmitted through our edge nodes (including video.relaycdn.me) are processed ephemerally in volatile RAM buffers for the sole purpose of real-time relay, transcoding, and low-latency distribution. We do not inspect, retain, or monetize customer video payloads.
To maintain network health, route optimization, and prevent DDoS attacks, our edge servers collect non-personally identifiable operational telemetry, including:
For customers within the European Economic Area (EEA), RelayCDN acts strictly as a Data Processor in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. Edge nodes located in Finland, France, Sweden, and Germany process traffic locally within the EU regulatory boundary.
Video chunk payloads processed via our WebSocket, gRPC, and LL-HLS ingestion pipelines are discarded from memory immediately after segment delivery to active player subscribers. No persistent disk recording or archival of stream data occurs unless explicitly configured by the customer via our S3 Storage Connector add-on.
All traffic passed through RelayCDN edge endpoints is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3 / HTTPS and HTTP/3 QUIC encryption. Access to API keys and configuration dashboards is protected by cryptographic HMAC signatures and multi-factor authentication.
